Riverside Bungalow

The Riverside Bungalow showcases mid-century design elements, while incorporating pieces that reflect on the clients heritage and love of his home city, New York City. The fabric choices, colors and textures were chosen to create a masculine space that worked with the clients current furnishings and decor. Working with a $1,200 budget, we transformed the living room space focusing on pieces that would create the largest visual impact. The fireplace was painted a Charcoal gray and accented by wallpaper featuring a map of New York City, providing a focal point for the space. Mid-century inspired decor from the client was used to adorn the mantle, including art to play on the clients Puerto Rican roots, creating a space that was uniquely theirs, to host and lounge and serve as a reflection of themselves.
