“Old friends are in awe of the transformations and new friends are impressed from the get-go. She helped turn my modest home's living room into something I'm proud to show off.”

Murray Hill Bungalow

The wood paneling in the Murray Hill Bungalow living room was a great lesson learned after 6 coats of paint and primer, but ultimately, the most drastic transformation for this space. With the client’s current furnishings incorporated into the design, the pieces were shifted to create a more functional space for hosting and lounging. Southwestern accents and textiles were brought in to highlight the client’s love of the Southwest, using quintessential western decors such as a sheepskin throw, leather pillows, handcrafted baskets, desert photography, and stag horns mounted on the fireplace. Lighting was replaced and a new more modern coffee table incorporated to provide more space and storage for the small space. Sheer white geometric print curtains were hung high to create the illusion of taller ceilings and a white bohemian print rug brought in to center the space.
